Help with Outdoor Spotlight.

Please, can anyone recommend a good quality external security spotlight.

I’ve seen loads on various sites, however, when I look a bit further, I discover all sorts of negatives regarding IP rating (water ingress even on IP65+ ratings) also PIR/LED failures mostly just outside the warrantee period.

I’ve looked at Luceco, V-Tac, Lap, Goodhome Lucan the list goes on.

I’d appreciate any guidance on a reliable brand, 20 Watt, single light with PIR price up to £40.

Only buy one with a 3 year warranty like Collingwood

By the same token would a V-Tac (see below) which carries a 5 Year Warranty be worth considering?

I get the impression, irrespective of cost, these things can have a limited life expectancy.

The existing ‘bulkhead and bulb’ has been in place for number of years, it’s just I now need something brighter and with a PIR.
