Hi,
I'm looking for some assistance wiring two CH zones (controlled by a 3 way valve) and HW cylinder system to a Hive Heating 2 system (with 1 dual and 1 single channel receiver).
I have successfully wired the dual zone receiver however the 2nd single channel receiver does not appear to be sending a voltage through terminal 3 of the single channel receiver, therefore meaning the 3 way valve is not receiving power when there is a demand for heating through the 2nd CH zone.
The single channel receiver is wired with Neutral/Live from 3A spur and terminal no. 3 to CH 2nd zone but when I move terminal 3 wire to terminal 4 and try fitting the dual channel receiver the 2nd zone works perfectly so I know the valve and wiring are good.
Can anyone explain why the single channel receiver is not sending voltage to the valve?
Do the Hive single and dual zone receivers work differently/require a different wiring system?
BG have told me the single channel receiver sends a different voltage...is this really correct?
