That is your problem, your boiler needs a permanent live, the display should never go off unless you cut the power, your boiler is operating via a switched live, you need to get a permanent live into the correct terminal on the boiler, get it done sooner rather than later or the boilers PCB will failthen switched water on so all lights green again and boiler & display started working..
