Hi there
First post here, been lurking for a while.
We have 2 CH zones and a separate hot water tank. The boiler is a Logic 24 and there are 2x TP7000 thermostats, one upstairs and one downstairs. The HW timer is a TS 715SI.
Bought a hive dual channel and a separate multizone unit and am doing some research before I touch anything.

Just wondered if anyone could cast an eye over some pics I have taken of my setup and give me any do's or donts. Still at early stages of research on how to wire the thing so please be gentle...
The pics are of the wiring centre and the plate of one of the TPs and the HW timer.

Many thanks
Martin

Step 1 of your research should be to discover that Hive is the least intelligent, least energy saving of all the "smart" thermostats.

Having done that and decided whether that's really what you want, it's probably going to be much simpler to pull all of the wires out of your wiring centre, and tidy them up before you do anything else. You'll then be able to see clearly where your new wires need to go. That's what I'd do anyway

Thanks Andrew - I'm kind of stuck with it now...lol

Good advice on the wiring, I'll def be doing that.

Cheers
Martin
