HI guys i need some help, i have a garage that is made out of grey block and has a cement render on it, some of the render has come off, leaving quite a big hole, how can i fill the hole without the cement sagging.
I am assuming i make a mix of 2 to 1, but i have had problems in the past with the sag.

look forward to some good advice

thank you

How deep is this hole, you could put it on in layers and scratch each before the final coat of 8 - 10 mm.

The hole is about 10 inches by 12 inches, and it is 6 inches deep.
I have chipped out the loose bits, and i am ready to fill it.

To fill the depth break up some old bricks and build them in so they are sub flush, leaving them rough to give a key and once they are set render over to finish. lightly wet around the hole before building into it and this will help the mortar adhere.
