hi i am trying to hollow out a chunk of oak that was cut off a feld tree i kept the bark on to keep it in shape and i have all the moisture replacing things on standby to stop cracking
its about 60cms deep and 55 cms diameter i would like to hollow it out but its really slow progress .
ive been looking into an electric power chisel but i can find any (only air)
it would need to be heavy duty i feel because this is oak
if anyone has any tips for me i would be grateful
thanks

You can buy wood chisels to fit SDS+ power tools that have a hammer only facility, try Screwfix

The other option is an Arbortech that fits onto an anglegrinder.

Find a local hobby wood turner. They will screw it to a massive lathe and hollow it out for you.
