I would think that if two places are together and both valued the same. Then the asking price for the nicely decorated house would be more obtainable than the other. This is what I have found. Many times I have refurb places and after revaluation have put 10's of thousands on it. For a customer there is often nothing like moving in to a place on a Friday and going back to work on a Saturday.
