To those who want to consider it more deeply, there is an interesting non sequiter in the information given on the Government web site introducing the concept of the HIP.

Read the following carefully and see that it does not appear to make any sense!

"""Industry accepts that sellers will generally not pay up front for Home Information Packs. Thus there is no impediment to sellers marketing their homes with the Packs both before and after implementation."""

Surely if the sellers will not pay for the HIPs then they will not get them?

Tony - not sure if you missed this bit from the Website:

"""Industry expectations are that the seller will not have to pay the full costs up front - in most cases these will be deferred until completion of the sale, like estate agents fees are now"""

It looks as though our dear Government are expecting those who produce the House Packs to finance the operation until the property is sold. What the H*ll will happen if the house is not sold at the end of the day :eek: Will the House pack producers not get any money as per the Estate Agents scenario?

the sale, like estate agents fees are now"""seller will not have to pay the full costs up front - in most cases these will be deferred until completion

READ THIS SENTENCE ;;;;
THIS IS BECAUSE THEY HAVE CONTROL OVER WHO HAS THE CONTRACTS TO FULLFILL THESE INSPECTIONS..

IN OTHER WORDS THESE TWISTED PACKS THEY HAVE MADE UP STOPS
OTHER GAS ENGINEERS FROM GIVING THE HOME SELLER A CHEAPER RATE AS IT WILL FALL IN WITH THE ESTATE AGENTS HANDS WHO WILL CONTRACT THE WORK OUT TO CONTRACTORS THEN THEY WILL EMPOLY GAS ENGINEERS FOR £10 HR

THIS IS CORRUPTION BETWEEN THE GOV AND ESTATE AGENTS AND WHAT CAN I DO F.CK ALL..AND THIS IS ONE EXAMPLE OF THE WAY THINGS ARE..................................................

WELCOME TO THE GAS INDUSTRY
