hi you bikers :LOL: my wifes 50 cc honda sky moped broke down, it seems to rev up ok but the wheels aint moving :?: woulld it be the belt or chain has come off inside the housing :?: dont know whether to push it home the 2 miles and DIY or get them out to pick it up which will cost me more cheers P M

You not got an AA card then? A bike would be covered on it, right?

ive got AA for the car but never bothered to re new it for the moped :rolleyes: :rolleyes:
 
Maybe a gearbox problem? I guess that it would have an auto box?

I'm not familiar with these bikes, but is it not possible to see the chain on the back wheel? If so, a quick look will rule out that problem :)

Could've sworn my AA card was for me as the driver of any vehicle :confused: (don't know if it extends to bikes?)

Could call them on the breakdown freephone to find out?
 
That's the price you pay if your wife insists in tying to burn off the boy racers at traffic lights ;)

what could be more simple.. fit new belt turn the key, press the button and it wont bloody start :evil: it turns a couple of times but no good there dont seem to be any adjustment for the tightening/lossening of the belt :?: :?:
 
It`s designed to run like a swiss watch for years .........then go Bang and every part is knackered :LOL: .........I just love jap bikes :evil:

thanks Nige F :cry: seems like ive flattened the battery trying to start it :cry: but it wont even kick start either so not the battery :?:

give her car driver lessons , you LOVE her , of course ? , roads are far dangerous NOW , years ago ok but not now , count the ammount of real bikers you see in a week ,

In my youth early 80s
nearly every car ...

now 5 in a week .. in manc ...
