Honeywell alarm won’t set

I can’t set the alarm was with my numbers - on display screen I’m getting 1-9 and all zeros. Next screen shows user restore press (x) to restore - but when I press x the alarm goes off ?
All previously worked fine

Are the LED flashing on movement sensors ?

They just come on when they detect movement and back off when you move out of range

How old is the system ?
Could have faulty back up battery?

I would replace battery ,could be causing your fault ?
