Hello I am trying to replace Honeywell T6360B with Honeywell DT4.

I have a combi boiler.

Please may I know if the Blue wire will have to be made safe before connecting the Red to A and Yellow to B? And presumably the earth wire is not required for DT4?

Yes, not required, looking at your diagram, but when I google DT4 I get 1730339006970.png which shows it will need neutral. I seem to remember there was a DT4 thermostat looking some thing like this ae235.jpgwhich would be wired like you show, seems the name has been reused, so rather weary of giving an answer in case not what I think it is. This 1730340064377.png I think is the old DT4 which is two wire only.
