I was impressed with the aatmosphere before the match last night. Brentford have waited a very long time to host a top flight match - ironically, the last time they played a game in the old First Division was in 1947; against Arsenal.
They lost that 1-0 but i had a feeling they could do better this time around. Arsenal were missing their first choice strikers and their real problems in devence haven't been fixed during the close season.
Next up they play Chelsea and Man City, so by the time they publish the first table i expect to see them in the bottom three and Gooners everywhere howling for the blood of the board.
