As I keep saying (and 'for better or worse'), what has changed is "our" view of what qualifies as "potentially unacceptably dangerous" - i.e. what degree of risk is currently considered 'acceptable' (or otherwise).
You, I and probably others will undoubtedly disagree with some of these changes in attitudes to risk, but we can't do much about that.
