hot air balloon ride..

anyone been on one? part of me would love to, but part of me thinks i might fall out of the basket, or it might get so late and we can't land and run out of gas etc etc...!!

What you must do is take a bit of rope to tie yourself in and a spare bottle of gas. Oh, I almost forgot, a bottle of water and a pack of sannies in case you don't get down. :cry:

no. i'm not havin that.. that's just not a sensible answer !!! i am properly perplexed by the whole idea... and i have done 2 parachute jumps!!!

Okay, your up there and its late, say dark, you cannot see to land and you run out of gas. Now what do you do? Ummmm, difficult one that. :(

That's all right my son, very often when you think things through carefully you can come up with the answer.

Now in the interest of safety get yourself a nice bright florescent overall so the can find you in the dark, a torch, a whistle and a really thick crash helmet. Because you never know which way up you'll be landing.
I was just thinking you could get those florescent socks in case your trouser legs crumple up.
