I’m baffled

We run an older Vailant combi on gas.
Recently the hot water has begun acting strangely. Kitchen tap gives a good flow of hot water. However the sink and bath taps run hot then soon begin to run tepid. The bathroom is actually closer to the boiler than the kitchen so I’m confused as to where the difference lies..
Central heating works fine.

Many thanks

Could be a few things, depending on which Vaillant model. I can think of at least 3 if a particular model to which I work on. However, it’s not prudent to give gas advice on a public forum (removing the cover on some forms part of the combustion circuit/room seal). Can you state which model?

If you live in a hard water area, then it more than likely limescale build up in your secondary heat exchanger.

You will need a gas registered heating engineer to give advice if an combination boiler is economically viable for repair or replacement.
