Hotpoint Aquarius WF541 fault

Please help, my washer has stopped mid cycle, the on/off light is flashing rapidly and the wash enhance and reduced creases lights are flashing 1 per second, I've checked my instruction manual and it says if the wash enhance/rinse hold/mini load lights are flashing it means the machine has failed to drain probably because the pump filter is blocked, the door wasn't locked so I checked and the washing while wet wasn't dripping so it obviously did drain and spin but the fabric conditioner was still in the drawer along with a reasonable amount but not all the detergent powder, also I checked the pump filter, a little water came out as expected but certainly not as much as if the machine hadn't drained (I had that problem once before) there were no blockages that I could see or feel, is there anything I've missed?

So what lights are flashing. Ignore the on off button. You posted two sets of lights flashing.

it's the wash enhance and reduce creases lights they are the 1st and 2nd of the options buttons.

That error is a communication error , unplug the machine from the wall for 5 mins. Also remove the lid and inplug the lead that goes to the top consol. Refit see it that cures it.
