Hotpoint RFA52 Refrigerator

Have had this fridge/freezer running for extra freezer storage and a drinks fridge out in the shed for the last 4 years.

We’re having quite cold temps here just now and despite the fridge being on 1 (settings are 0 - 5) a lot of the juices are ending up with ice forming…

Wondered whether if turning to 0 would also impact on the freezer - which obviously I’m nervous to do?

Any expertise available?

To be fair it cost me £20 and arguably is still going strong. Just doesn’t handle the cold well which is the same for most household fridge freezers
