House Extension - Builder Questions...

If you take £50k off one customer now then, if you take more than £40k from all other customers within the next 12 months, you are required to register for VAT.
But nothing to do with the OP's situation.

The OP said the value of the contract is £50k, not that the contractor is going to receive £50k. In fact the OP already stated that he'll be paying for some of the items personally. I'd be surprised if he banks a third of that.

blah...blah...blah..
No one needs a lesson in the (VAT) obvious, thanks.

The Reform Party was/is promising to raise the threshold to £150k. Don't think any other party had anything to say about it.
the Reform are just a version of Trumps 2025, Reform want small state, so they would destroy public services, leaving only the wealthy having acess to things like affordable healthcare

Yes, woke corrupt communism is so much nicer.

If reform are just like Trump then they're very likely to get elected, just as he has. The current madness was just a weird diversion that hardly anyone actually wanted. We've always followed the US, we followed them into weird dodgy globalist socialism, and we'll follow them in saying to hell with this crap.

Hopefully this current mob won't quite manage to bankrupt the country before we're able to get rid and reverse all their bonkers policies.

Notch just goes around the forum looking for anyone saying things about Reform - its almost like he is paid to do it.
