My parents have just moved to a fairly remote old cottage.
The gas central heating system is a glowworm boiler and feeds only 6 single radiators in this cottage. Today the central heating was on all day and all the radiators were very hot but the temperature in the rooms varies from only 15-18 degrees C.
The cottage has double glazing throughout.
Should these single radiators be replaced with double radiators to give of more heat and is this likely to heat the cottage quicker?
Any replies would be of help.
Thanks
Colin
