House wife's father now blames the UK

It's been twenty six pages.

Have the people professing to care about this woman and her baby - because she has been interviewed - expressed any concern for the hundreds of others who are there and the, I believe, thirty six others who have been stripped of British citizenship?

My post about the bigger picture considered all persons in such dire circumstances, but more importantly their children.

Its all very well ranting but you haven't offered any solution -although I can understand your point and the frustration behind it. Certainly the idea that multiculturalism has been a success, is not true and we need to look for different solutions.

In the same way you would argue political correctness has prevents honest discussion and hidden the problems that exist, I would also argue that blaming a whole group of people for a minority of fundamentalists is also preventing honest discussion and it incites hatred.


I don't agree with your argument regarding Islam because Muslims have lived in the UK for many many years, the terrorism is only a recent thing.

Islamic terrorism is a recent thing in Britain yes, but it has been happening in other places for hundreds of years; since the beginning of the religion in fact. We are seeing it now in Britain because of the increase in their population. There can be no honest discussion of "the problems that exist" in mainstream media because mainstream media is terrified of it (think Charlie Hebdo.) Discussion in the mainstream always reaches one conclusion: we must pity muslims and not be "islamophobic". More people know the name of the evil Shemima Begum than know the names of any of the 22 innocents killed in the Manchester Arena bombing.

I do know what the solution is but I am not going to offer it!

We should develop a policy and procedures to deal with these idiots, but more importantly, their children.
A policy that does not simply pretend that they do not exist. A policy that seriously addresses the future potential impact of letting terrorists, potential terrorists, and their children the freedom to perpetuate their radicalisation and beget more potential future terrorists.

The reporter in that article posted by sodthisforfun raised the issue with the UK government representative months (or maybe longer) ago and met with stony silence.
The government policy of leaving UK citizens in refugee camps is short-sighted, counter-productive, uncivilised and endangers the lives of us all, and our children, to future terrorism.
