Hi All,
I currently own a 3 bed semi built circa 1975. The house has PVC cladding on the front and rear, and is brick built on the majority.
I understand (but may be wrong) that the walls behind the cladding will be timber as opposed to brick - is this likely?
One of the interior walls that has cladding on the outside seems to have cracked from halfway up the wall and across the ceiling. When pressed, the wall / plaster seems to push out and the window frame next to it also moves out slightly. Would anyone know what this could be being caused by?
Finally, and this may require another thread, is that the house is often cold, and I'm wondering if this is down to the wall construction not being brick. Is there anything in particular I can do to improve the heating in this type of construction?
Thanks
dvent
