Looking at it on a TV screen doesn't tell you what it looks (or feels) like IRL.
I guess I should therefore give it the benefit of the doubt until I have seen it IRL, but if close up it doesn't look like brick, or feel like brick, or sound like brick when the rain hits it, then it isn't like brick.
I've nothing against new and innovative building materials; variety and experimentation are great. But I don't like fakery.
If people want plastic on the outside of their house, fine - have plastic, but don't try and pretend that it is brick. If they want their house to look like it has brick walls, use brick, not plastic.
