hi all first time post, need some help and advice if poss.

i am fitting a towel warmer to bathroom as plumber p***** off with money b4 job was finished.
anyway the old radiator was removed with the thermostat valves left on the 8mm pipe coming up from floor.
my problem is how to drain the ch system so i can fit the new towel warmer without flooding house.
there are about 5 or 6 pipes going in to boiler and 3 of them have open and close valves on them (if this helps)

thanks for any help

assuming the new rad is going wher the old one was, you have no need to drain system

unless you have to change the pipe work breezer is spot on

but if you do

1 turn the boiler off at the mains
2 find a drain cock
3 attach a hose
4 undo drain cock
5 let water run till it stops
6 open vents on any rad you have above the one you want to change
7 let water run untill it stops
8 do your work and have some tissue or towels ready to catch any let over water

:)
