How Does a neon screwdriver work?

Bernard,

I ramp tested the RCD to make sure it was operating at 30mA, then I deliberately touched the line circuit conductor to prove to myself that although less than 30mA flowed, the shock was still of a magnitude great enough to kill.
If the duration of the shock had been extended, I can assure you that the magnitude was great enough to kill. That's why I used the back of my finger, and started by doing it upstairs.
Mods - this guy needs to be ejected from this site - he is a danger to himself and others as demonstrated above - he adds no value and is simply here to self publicise the pamphlets (nee books) he claims to write.

Spatikus,

You asked for a debate, suddenly the quality of your answers has gone down hill rather rapidly.

Try touching an energised line circuit conductor as I did, then debate me once you've grown up a bit.

Yes, you agreed and then did not show up for it.

The quality of my answers match the quality of your knowledge of electrical engineering and electrical science.

What part of " I already did and did not feel anything" do you not get???

As for growing up a bit, I considered and dismissed the points that you are discussing now when I about 13 years old which was probably before you were born sunny boy, so get back in your kennel.
