How is this happening in this county

Thats because behind many government plans to tackle the issue
the government dont have any plans to tackle the issue

the Rwanda plan wasnt designed to work, it only catered for a few hundred and it was a reciprocal arrangement

if the government actually wanted to reduce the number of asylum seekers here they could speed up the processing of existing claims of which there is a 200,000 backlog

the so called "do gooders" turn up saying let them be, we love everyone who comes to our country, we should be welcoming more,
WRONG

nobody has been saying "we should be welcoming more"

not to mention all the legal experts who use every trick in the book to actually try and stop the government when they actually do try and do something
You mean legal experts following the law

the supreme court did not try and stop the government "trying to do something", the supreme court merely stopped the govt from breaking the law

A lot in your party John advocate open borders, did you not know that?
that is undiluted horse pizz

you post the most utter nonsense

the Labour party would ramp up the backlog which the Tories have allowed to reach 200,000

It is the Conservative party that have had policies allowing 1 million net migration over last 2 years

Not necessarily. Imagine if the money didn't go to ukraine, and russia takes over? People would be living under bridge with no bathroom.
how would you know, you think jacking up a car on its brake disc is a great idea

Too many people, not enough houses. Build more houses, more people will follow, then back to square one. This problem has only gotten worse over successive governments who cant see that having too many people on this "island" will cause all sorts of problems. It may not necessarily be the governments but the masses who support unlimited "people" entering the country, unchecked, undocumented. Anymore words on this matter and this could become a rant so I'd better stop.
there are not too many people

if there were, we would have huge unemployment, we dont we have a shortage of labour

so thats your argument in the bin

So all the Corbyn supporters have given up their seats.
You sound frightened notchy of people finding out what's behind the mask.

Brexits fault for being to successful then.

Gant you said: "A lot in your party John advocate open borders"

So wheres your evidence?

Come on youve made a claim, grow a backbone and provide the evidence

I've made a claim that Corbyn supporting labour mps believe in open borders, are you saying they don't ?

So you think starving the country of workers stifling growth is a success :ROFLMAO:
Do we have to go through this over and over again. Does nothing stick in your 'ed or is it a simple case it doesn't suit your prejudices.

Are you getting confused with his comment, pre brexit?

He said freedom of movement would continue if the UK votes in a second referendum to stay in the EU. However, if Labour were to negotiate a Brexit deal with the EU, it would involve a “special arrangement” on immigration and free movement

You do know he is not the current Labour leader? You do know that?

And his other comment on the subject........

Corbyn also accused the Conservatives of “making up” numbers and policy after Priti Patel, the home secretary, claimed a Labour government would lead to open borders and an extra 840,000 new entrants a year.

Remind us about the latest figures (from the current Government?) 750,000 was it? That prediction from the Tories themselves was 4 years ago. It is them that are still in power.

Disgraceful
Sorry, late the discussion ... but ...

In 1998 I was living in a house in Turnpike Lane, there were 12 of us and 2 bathrooms. So slightly better, but still. And that was not social housing, but private and all paid out of choice.

Not saying it is nice, but then, when you are poor you just have to make the most of what you do have. And try to stop people nicking that too. I still have butter in a butter dish today.

Me too lived just off Bondi Beach ⛱️ early 90's. One bathroom between 32 of us.

In fairness we were a mixed bag of fruity young nationalities who were having the time of our lives. And there was showers next door we could use.
