Most people read the text and mentally count the number of F's in what they thought they had read, normally 3

However, if you don't read the text and just count the F's you will get 6 every time. Is that in the spirit of the post, I'm not sure

Given how widely-read you are, I'd put money on you being wise to this type of trick of the mind, and thus subverting the question by applying the method of counting the letters without reading the words. Even if you didn't think that, or do that, then your implied claim of failing to understand that most other people do do that lacks credibility. Not what you would call a lie, but a lie nontheless.

It appears that your so-called "list" is a collection of people who've worked out in exactly which ways you tell lies, hence you can't afford to argue with them. It's a pity that someone who's so good at spotting, and correcting, flaws and faults is incapable of understanding, and thereby accepting and correcting, this particular one.
