how much to replace boiler?

J ust out of interest, you guys who say you can upgrade for £1500ish, how long does it normally tak,e and what profit do you actully make?

just had mine replaced and cost me £1700 for labour, boiler, new controls,cleaning out old pipework,new pump, TVR's and conversion to Y plan involving 21 metres of new pipe-work. worth every penny.

i do it quite cheap because having a job with local authority housing this is my holiday fund..

Converting from a back boiler to combi usually takes me three days on my own.

Boiler, TRVs, controls and parts usually runs to about £800ish. You can work out the profit from there.
