Hi,

I’ve cleared all of my guttering bar a 3m section I can’t get to with a ladder. It’s a standard sized 2 floor house.

Can anyone recommend the best way to clear this DIY?

Thanks

If you want to do it DIY, you may have to hire a small scaffold tower. Probably cheaper to get your local gutter cleaning guy to do it. They usually have a gutter vacuum that will reach from the ground level

Have you tried hanging out of a window and using a long pole with a hook attached to the end? It's fiddly but doable.
Tbh, having attempted this method in the past with limited success I chose to hire a guy in with vacuum the last and latest occasion.

So for this task along if would make complete sense just to get someone round to do it so I agree with you all.

I also need my roof cleaned and trying to get quotes is difficult - one I did get was £870 (which I believe includes gutters) - OK fair enough it is a 4 bed detached.

Is it possible to apply chemicals to the roof with a pump action sprayer using a ladder provided the sprayer had a decent reach? If so I could do this and just pay someone to do the inaccessible section of gutter.

Or am I being a tight a*se and risking death and a doing a crap job to save money?

Hire a tower scaffold then.
Spray with roof cleaner. It's cheap enough off eBay or Amazon.
Good pump sprayer will do it.

Ok hiring a scaffold tower is possible for the roof cleaning but it won’t get to the inaccessible gutter - I’ve included a terrible computer drawing below with the problem gutter shown in orange:
