Hi

I want to buy some wooden shutters for our front room. The windows are upvc, and bay window. I can see how I would fit a frame for a regular window, or even square-bay windows, but what's the situation with angled bay windows, and is my situation more complicated cos the frame etc is upvc? How will I fit (attach) the L-frames where the side window meet the main window? Do I simply drill into the plastic?

Here's the only (poor) pic I can find to give you some idea! the centre window is 3-panels (1530mm wide); both side windows are single panel, (540mm wide); drop 1360mm.

Also any recommendations for companies, I'm looking at premier-shutters just cos their website and info looks good. I want to DIY it not pay a company to fit them.

cheers!

wondering if a piano type hinge on the shutters would be the best solution??
