How to make an F30 door

Many fire door blanks can be cut down to suit a non standard sized opening, the door will need to be lipped with a hardwood bead on any cut edges, it will likely tell you what is required in the specifications or data sheet.

Yup you are correct.

I emailed them and they said that it will need lipping.

Mind you, in post #14 you showed the text from their site anyway.

I believe it is usual to neatly saw off the factory lip, trim the door, then refix the lip.
