I bought this junction box from screwfix. I need it to put my cctv camera connections in there.

Outside near the camera. So a camera cable will come into it and one cable that is for power and DVR which goes to the room its in. So I need 2 holes .

Do I pull them things out that are in rhe holes? Or drill in them? Do I just feed the wire in them. Or do I need a special gromit etc ? I am not using any conduit etc. Also shall I feed the cables in the horizontal holes to avoid raining getting in from the topnotch the box?

Thanks for any help.

Wiska plus gland nut or grommet best, Otherwise Use a screwdriver and tap disc nearest in size to the cable, fit grommet. Do a dry run before fitting.

Seem to remember the hole is not 20 mm or 25 mm some odd figure like 22 mm, and no cable clamps, so it is a case of cut the rubber grommet and cross your fingers it does not fill with water.

Just make sure you can isolate the supply should it get water in, and isolate means both line and neutral are switched, i,e, both the lives.

It's just a simple coax cable I believe with integrated power... and when in the home one part goes in an adapter on the plug socket for power and the other back of the DVR .

The rubber gland shown is not a 'tap' out disk type. I would say just make sure small hole in bottom for water to run out, as it will always get in, so just allow it to get out again. Come in from bottom, leave drip loops.

ive used that junction box, as Murdochat says, they arent the greatest

I used a drill bit a bit smaller than the cable, it worked fine -although I used a wood lip and spur bit but I guess an HSS bit would do the job fine

personally I would take both cables in at the bottom
