How to paint a straight line by skirting and corners - if i use a tape keeps peeling wall off

Guess you have all seen the YouTube videos with masking tape being pulled giving bang on crisp straight lines.
I'm using more tape now than ever especially on skirting and door frames.
Low tac mostly (masq purple) don't mind Q1 tapes and look out for discount codes.

As for caulk I tend not to use because of the problems so mostly stick to polymer mastic.

Re emulsion coming off, I test the low tac and If it is a problem I switch to sensitive tape..

I'm good with a brush but taping is another level with the straight lines you can't get with a brush.
