Its an outdoor light. I want to remove the cover, I've tried a screwdriver but it's the wrong tool. How can I unscrew it?
Thanks

security screwdriver bit. They come in sets. Looks like you want the hex with a hole drilled in the end.

There was perhaps one supplied with the lamp.

Thanks for your responses
I'm new at diy, do I need an electric screwdriver to use bits?

Adan,
Very good question - especially as the kit I showed you does not come with a screw driver (doh).
No you do not need to buy an electric screw driver for these, you use a special screw driver that has a hole in end to take the bits.
(the one at Poundland is just like that - a screwdriver and a several screwdriver bits.

This is a more professional screwdriver version from Toolstation (does your hole look like one of the bits shown?):

and here are some more (cheaper) bits:

And one frm screwfix that I bet they also sell at Homebase and perhaps B&Q:

And Aldi (but these bits look very poor metal)

Why do you want to unscrew it? The fact that they’ve fitted a “tamper proof” screw suggests that you shouldn’t normally need to...
