I was trying to use my **** bosch sds drill to drill through one skin block and one skin brick. I need a hole for a cable feeding the security lights. The issue is the joist was very close to the wall. I thought I'll drill from the outside in. I was told to drill a hole through the joist then a very long ass sds drill bit through the hole. I couldn't fit a drill between the joists hence I had to do it at an angle. Now it's properly wedged into the wall. The drill won't reverse it out. I regret not following my instinct now.

So does anyone how any bright ideas on how to remove it. I have tried grips. I have tried knocking it side to side with a claw hammer. The BASTARD wont move

sounds to me your so called 5hite bosch sds worked exactly how it should of done.
have you tried mole grips?

that's exactly what I used. I didn't know they were called mole grips. I couldn't get any grip on it. LOL. I feel so stupid. I'm guessing by the number of ppl who have read and not replied, what I did was very stupid. Not to mention I have perfectly useable drill bit stuck in the wall. In my defense it wasn't my idea. Worse come to worse I'll have to get the grinder out and cut it off.

If you have space to get a grinder to it then get a stillson on it and turn the bit anti-clockwise until it is loose. It will be tight at first but will get loose with enough turning.

How about a jubliee clip as tight as possible on the shank, put a block of wood against the wall (the clip needs to be about 15mm from the block to allow the spanner to fit snugly) then put an adjustable spanner between the block and clip then try and lever it out. If it moves you can resite the clip or use a bigger block

You should've drilled the hole through the joist 10mm larger than your sds drill and bring the bit back now and again to clear the waste.

Anyway, the worst thing you could've done is hit it with a hammer as you've now got a bent bit of metal in a straight hole. The only way to get it out is to rotate it anti clockwise while pulling it hard. The idea with the jubilee clip is great but use the stillsons to turn as you lever it.
