I hear prince Andrew was not invited to Xmas lunch with the Royals.

I heard Charles has for years considered him to be a reprehensible sponging parasite

But was unable to edge him out.

He didn't feature in the Kings speech but the media will keep him in the spotlight so they can knock him down; before then he survived because he was the Queens favourite. He's an arrogant so and so but I feel sorry for him over the court case because - as the finance people backing the girl who sued him realised - the Queen was never going to let him go to court and had the funds to settle. Also don't forget he served his country during the falklands crisis.

You reap what you sow.

Serving during the Falklands doesn't give you a free pass

A protected role...

The many homeless veterans now living on the street were at the sharp end!

But then they don't have royal connections ;)

Do you think the 'king' will let baby brother suffer the same fate?

He’ll be tempted, but it would harm the Windsor brand if Andy was forced to beg for cash from some dodgy ollygarch.
Homeless veterans struggle because of government policy, not royal wealth.

Who is the unelected head of state in this country?

A head of state who is happy to intervene in government policies that will affect him personally (and the one who came before) and the royal family as a whole , yet chooses not to have a say on those struggling veterans...

"Prince Charles exploited a controversial procedure to compel government ministers to secretly change a proposed law to benefit his landed estate, according to documents uncovered by the Guardian.

Official papers unearthed in the National Archives reveal ministers in John Major’s government yielded to his demands amid fears that resisting the heir to the throne could spark a constitutional crisis.

Ministers backed down to “avoid a major row” with the prince, effectively allowing him to force the hand of the elected government.

The disclosure of the documents provides further evidence of how the royal family has used the secretive procedure known as Queen’s consent to alter legislation to benefit their private interests"

Wake up and smell the coffee!

He was a chopper pilot. That's not a safe role.

Fighting in a war also doesn't make him a decent human being though.
