i am surprised you expect people with the responsibilities off looking after about 70 million people would not moderate there thought and opinions off the evils off the world when we need to have a working relationship with people we may hate or despise as its the only way things have any chance off changing :giggle:

What evidence is there that China is committing genocide on the same scale as Israel is alleged to be doing.

But there have been many reports of torture, systematic rape, forced labour, mass disappearances, executions and the destruction of thousands of mosques and cultural sites in Xinjiang

If the above is true, that 1000's of Mosques have destroyed, then there should be an awful lot of evidence.

Satellite images of the destruction of Gaza can be shown in minute detail, so therefor the destruction of Mosques and Uyghur cultural sites on the scale alleged shouldn't be a problem.

Another thing about the Chinese that never gets a mention is the virtual rape by them of several African countries for precious resources. They've done deals with corrupt despotic African regimes to take the resources that China needs for it's undustrial might on the cheap. The money goes into African despots' Swiss bank accounts. Yes, the Chinese may occasionally build a new school or road as a bit of window dressing to give the impression they're doing good and the people are getting something in return. However the Chinese are ruthless and get the resources for a lot less than their real value. They are also ruthless when it comes to using the local African labour, with terrible working conditions and employment rights with poverty pay.

Of course the liberals, many on here, would be shouting from the roof tops about this if The UK, US or European countries did the same as The Chinese. However, they're all strangely silent in this case. Typical lefty, liberal hypocrisy and stupidity.
 
The usual stance with China is deal with them but this does not prevent criticism of things that they choose to do. This applies to relationships with lots of countries.

So show me a Labour statement that indicates the same as the link suggests. Do the same as the US. An embargo on certain cotton products. Different issue. The US aim is to cause China as many problems as it can. Latest escalation is a trade war. Trump more extreme and it might not be a good idea to assume he wont adopt the same attitude to all that export there. Some car makers to not want these import duties as they do sell into China so are likely to loose their market share. Musk chooses to manufacture there. This is not that unusual.

China style genocide meets the requirements to call it that but method is nothing like the ones that are usually used.
