Someone wanted a new socket outlet fitted in a bedroom and I was happy to oblige.
After I'd smashed my way in to the wall to tap in to the existing ring and forced a back box in eventually I must've lost the earth cable somewhere so I connected a new one from the k/o box to the E terminal on the outlet.
Just wondering though, does this contravene any of those regulation things? :confused:

whats wrong with it, the outlet from the kettle is at such a height that the element can't boil dry.
