Run the waste in the 50mm void - waste pipes are 44mm aren't they? The only cabinets which don't accommodate this are IKEA ones which lack a service void at the back and have about 70mm available in the kickspace - and IKEA will design your kitchen for free and make sure that that the pipework runs are minimized.

Unbelievable really, surely after the first foot or two along he must have realised he'd made a mistake.

Even if not then, you'd think the moment you see cavity wall beads start to pour out you'd know you've f***ed up!

My plumber took out some of the boards under the floor, to fit a new pipe. He said he would board over it, but surprise surprise told me to go to B&Q and do it myself and at my expense
