Iceland volcano plume

looks like Mom and Dad still stuck in Malta for a bit then..
supposed to be coming back tomorrow ( sunday ) at 11:30, but the websites all say that flights are cancelled until at least 13:00 sunday...

What are they going to do if there are no flights next week or longer? would be quicker to catch a ferry to the mainland then get on a bus or you go and pick them up ;)

Would be amazing if this lasted another 2 years! Would we all survive and adapt? yes! Selling my BA shares on monday :LOL:
 
This erruption may be natures way of repairing the damage to our planet, particulates in the atmosphere, blocking out the heating effect from the sun, leading to a reversal in the rising temperature trend.
Nature has a way of governing itself.

Lets hope so then, since although the one may cause the other, it doesn't mean that the response won't be apocalyptic. For example, if you put can of fizzy drink in the freezer with the ring-pull open, it may well initially start to expand out of the hole, but eventually lead to the can "bursting" randomly sideways anyway.

oh great.. mom and dad stuck put in malta until tursday 28th.. so a 10 day holiday turns into a 3 week holiday..
in a 5 star hotel only have to pay for drinks..
result.. :D

the lady looking after their dog is going on holiday herself on thursday ( caravaning ) for a 4 day weekend, so I get to go and dogsit for 4 days.. great.. :evil:

if I get that job now I can't start untl 27th... :rolleyes:

Aw, come on. Give Nature a bit more credibility than that.

Talking of nature rebalancing itself, last night I had a rather spicey curry. Today, without going into the finer details, lets say it was a bit like Vesuvius both in rigour and in heat. :oops: :eek:
 
It looks as if the planes may be grounded for another few days according to the radio. :eek:

that's your excuse for not attending church this morning, poor, very poor.

Anyway I've saved a few quid as Julie was due to fly to Vegas tomorrow and as an added bonus, I wont be doing the washing up this week either :LOL:
