hi

i am new to this forum, i have browsed it previously and have always obtained the information i require.

does anybody out there know how energy efficient an ideal classic rs 40 is. i have looked on sedbuk, no sign of it. i know the gc number, i know it is a 95 model, just having difficulty pinning down the energy rating.

i guess i could always give ideal a bell tomorrow

The efficiency of the boiler will at best be band D.

Your system design will greatly effected how much energy you save on system design.
Things to look for are:

TRV's on Rads
Fully Pumped or Gravity system
these basics answered, look for...

Auto bypass.
Programmable room stat.
Boiler location (that may need frost stat)
