Ideal Isar boiler H 3 problem

No central heating/hot water

*Boiler sounds fine

*Re-set button won't press (never has done)

*Pressure was half a bar, released valve and its gone back up to 1 and a half

*Burner light is ON

*Status flashing H 3

*No flow in one of the radiators (you can hear water in all others)

Going to try bleeding the radiators

Tried switching boiler off and on

Definitely PCB issue. May as well replace the thermistor as per course as it will be out of calibration if boiler not serviced for 2 hrs minimum and cheap as chips. No brainer really.
Every other Isar/ Icos I come across is PCB related. Maybe an expensive part but definitely cheaper than a new boiler.

this makes no sense at all, so are you saying that if you spend two hrs servicing the boiler then the thermistor will be ok ? what has spending two hrs servicing got to do with anything ?

H3 is dhw sensor open curcuit or shorted,make double sure its piped up right way round as some (especially if its a warmfront install) werent.Remove the sensor,and youll get flooded.
Although all should have been rectified by now.

Just change the DHW thermistor, nothing todo with the pcb. I have changed quite a few thermistors and never changed a PCB due to H3 fault.

yes it's the cheapest thing to try, i've had some with the correct resistance but they are still faulty, however if this doesn't sort the prob then it's pcb so you saying it's nothing to do with pcb isn't correct
