Identification by cable o/a diam' (including insulation)

16mm² tail. 16 / 7 = single strand csa.
3 x the single strand diam plus 4 (double insulation) = outside diam of cable
10mm²
3(sqrt((4x10)/(7xPi))) + 4 = 8.04 mm (TLC = 8.0)
16mm²
3(sqrt((4x16)/(7xPi))) + 4 = 9.1 mm (TLC = 9.1)

The insulation thickens?
25mm²
3(sqrt((4x25)/(7xPi))) + 4 = 10.4 mm (TLC = 11)
35mm²
3(sqrt((4x35)/(7xPi))) + 4 = 11.6 mm (TLC = 12)Click for TLC

If TLC are near correct then the insulation single thickness is now thickened by about 0.125mm adding 0.5mm to my calc diams... becoming 10.9 and 12.1mm.

I imagine TLC have it right... the insulation thickens as the csa increases, seems reasonable.
Can anyone confirm the TLC o/d's printed in red please?

I have confirmed by measurement, the calcs for single 'Earth' cables at 10 and 16mm² normally insulated, also confirmed here .. 16mm² TLC
