Just becuase the consumer unit was changed does not mean you had a re-wire.
Looing at your PICs your consumer unit does not comply with wiring regs that were issued in 2008 and probably does not comply the set of wiring regs before that - mainly due to the lack of RCD protection.
Seeing the way the cables have been lashed up leads me to believe that it is an old instlallation and you are well advised to get it tested.
Rewring a house circuit by circuit rather than in one hit would cost a lot more by the you got to the end of the job
