No Sh*t sherlock!

"The impact of Brexit on the UK economy will be worse in the long run compared to the coronavirus pandemic, the chairman of the Office for Budget Responsibility has said.

Richard Hughes said leaving the EU will reduce the UK's potential GDP by about 4% in the long term.

He said forecasts showed the pandemic would reduce GDP "by a further 2%".

"In the long term it is the case that Brexit has a bigger impact than the pandemic", he told the BBC."

So much for brexiteer claims

Of course what is far worse is the effect on people's lives as regards loss of opportunities!

Because it's pointless. The comment will just get deleted. That's the way this site is going these days unfortunately. Typical example was when asked how you voted you replied with a NOYFB but when it was pointed out that you had started several posts asking how forum members voted, you got the post removed and me blocked from the thread because you didn't like the nasty swear word that was used.

Yes their economy is set to grow a lot more than downtrodden Brexit Britain. All you are doing is show just how poor Brexit Britain is in comparison.(y)

WRONG

Germany and UK are suffering global supply chain issues.

only the UK is suffering a crisis.

reason is Brexit.
yeah bottle necks cause the highest inflation rate in 28 years funny how even with bottle necks and brexit UK are not getting anywhere near 28 year old records

The UK has been in decline since Brexit. Germany fell off a cliff with Covid. Still a massive powerhouse of an economy though. Makes us look like N.Korea.
