Does anyone know, if when you buy something from a EU member country, the country in Q is Slovakia. And I have payed the 20% Slovakian Tax on the item, I will then be stung again when the item enters the UK with import duty and vat.
I have looked at the HMRC site, and I think I read I will not have to pay anything, as buying from a EU member country is the same as if I bought it in the UK.
The item in Q is worth about £600.
It just wont be worth buying if I get stung twice. Thanks.
