I have heard that flour is a good bait.

If all else fails at least you will be able to measure their shoe size!!

although it probably isnt the case here, its worth noting that bat poo looks the same as mouse poo, however you wouldnt trap them with mouse traps i doubt, could there be bats getting in, hanging out in the cupboard, the can be very small
