Surely the neon only alerts to to the big red switch being left on. Surely you don't turn the big red switch on and off every time you use the cooker. It would cause the clock on the cooker to stop.

He did state that he did it three times daily, because it is abundantly clear that two other people would not entertain his/her company day in, day out.He never said he did. He said the switch was cycled three times daily. Perhaps there are three people there who each shower once.
