Hi
I want to install a new induction hob to replace a gas one.
The house is new and the gas hob is connected to a unswitched FCU of 13A (under the bench for the lighter). On the other hand, the FCU is connect to a 3 gang control Switch (Hob, hob fan and cooker).
The Induction hob is a plug and play for a 13A socket: https://www.zanussi.co.uk/kitchen/cooking/hobs/induction-hob/zei6840fba/
Can I switch the FCU by a normal 13A socket?
Is better, cut the wire of the hob and connect to the FCU? Can the warranty by void if I cut the wire?
Thanks in advance
