I have a Eriba caravan and the gas locker door is made of ply with a metal skin either side and a bonded plastic seal around it.
Unfortunately part of the seal has let water in over the years and as it could not escape it has rotted away a section of the plywood.
I have now drilled drain holes to help if the problem occurs again after re sealing. My problem now is I have managed to pour rust inhibitor in to treat the edges of the metal (rust not visible at the moment as it’s under the seal) and I have also managed to pour 500ml of wood hardener in, I now would like to inject something to fill the void that the rotten ply has left, So looking for recommendations, the only access points is holes in the back metal skin where the hinges screw in. so far I have thought of hot glue, non expanding foam (if such a thing exists) or a syringe with a filler that would be fluid enough to pass through it but set hard
