I found this insect getting more in my loft. Please help to see the pictures attached. Isn't something that I need to worry about? May I know how can I get rid of it?

is it grey? In the pic it looks black

put a coin or ruler in the pic to show scale.

Have you found the leak in your roof?

If you mean you're finding loads in your loft then you might have a damp problem.

If your only seeing one or two then there nothing to worry about

They are woodlice, common and harmless

It's a Slater, they like rotting wood.

May I know how can I get rid of them? Heater?

they are woodlice. They like damp, rotting wood (they actually eat the rot, not the wood) and they have to lay their eggs in damp places.

Find the leak that is causing the damp; the wood will dry and the woodlice will die.
